Residency at De Liceiras 18 in Porto, Portugal

I. Room
In this residency everybody had a bedroom that was also (supposedly) their studio. In my room, I did approximately:
30% Sleeping
10% Listening to seagulls and construction
10% Making ink drawings of the house

10% Drying clothes with Hyewon (artist at the residency)
10% Videochatting with friends and family
5% Staring at shadows on the wall and taking photos
5% Looking at phone
5% Working on the computer
5% Preparing for the open studio
5% Drinking coffee and snacking
2% Booking flights
2% Singing
1% Crying
I was fascinated by the shadows on the wall in my room at different times of the day. I first tried to trace them, but then realized adding frames better conveyed the inability to capture fleeting time.
II. The Wacky Tour
I was introduced to Guruwalk by a fellow resident and attended three tours while I was in Portugal. On the day of the open studio, I became a tour guide as well and introduced the visitors to the house - a semi-typical house in the center of Porto, roof falling, floors tilting, gas running out. And also, shower with flashlight!

At the beginning of the tour, I handed out a flyer, on the back side of which was also a room plan.
III. A spontaneous music piece
One day I got a hanging piece from a second-hand furniture shop in Porto and Google-translated the text into English. The next day Michal (artist from the residency) connected me with Francisco who plays the Portuguese guitar. And it started to connect - why not chant the text with the guitar? That was my first improvisation with voice.
